Norway just beat Brazil. Read that again. A nation of 5.5 million knocked the five-time champions out of the World Cup and reached its first quarterfinal in history. And yet the image traveling the world is not Erling Haaland’s two goals. It is 40,000 people in the stands sitting down, gripping invisible oars, and pulling in unison while the whole stadium shouts “ROW!” every two beats.
