City of Galveston, Supported by LeVass Ventures, Seeks a Development Partner for Stewart Beach

‍ ‍

GALVESTON, TEXAS — The City of Galveston has officially released a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a qualified development partner for the redevelopment of Stewart Beach, one of the Texas Gulf Coast’s most recognized public destinations.

The opportunity envisions a new mixed-use beachfront destination that could include restaurants, entertainment venues, hospitality uses, public gathering spaces, enhanced beachfront amenities, structured parking, and other complementary uses designed to improve the visitor experience and strengthen Galveston’s long-term tourism economy.

The redevelopment effort is intended to create a more active, resilient, and year-round destination while maintaining public access to the beachfront and reinforcing Stewart Beach’s role as a key civic and recreational asset for the community.

LeVass Ventures is serving as the City’s real estate advisor for the developer solicitation and evaluation process.

Interested development teams are encouraged to review the RFP materials and submission requirements through the City of Galveston.
